The Price of Love
I have earned love in a million ways-
First by my cute giggles and big eyes full of wonder
that struck people like thunder.
Secondly: by grades.
Grades were traded just for a bit of love,
that lost its meaning after a while.
Then I started to earn love by selling pieces of me.
The worst?
I started to give those pieces away for free,
but yet, love didn't come easy.
