The Pure Hearted

My heart is the purest part of me. My arms have been stomped on my legs torn up my body violated but my heart has remained soft. For I walk this journey. This life with the purest intentions, yes a bit sensitive. but aren't we all? I'll always consider someone in a way They'll never consider me. I'll always reach out a hand Without receiving one back. I have not been rescued The way I've rescued others. i've put myself in your shoes... and in yours, yours... Yours too! But have you ever thought of walking 10 steps in mine? She is living in a calm pool of my tears My heart is treading softly each day She waits and waits and Waits.. She has not fallen apart That pure heart of mine.
