The Siege of Power and Glamour
The strong stand
The weak strand
The mighty conquer
The weak falters
Sovereigns rise
Beguiling many with a price
Multitudes veil them with praise
Until regret downs the face
Oppression and regression
Poverty and degradation
A loud cry is heard in all directions
"Oh! What have we done to our nation"
"How good it is to be king
to be clad in glamour and golden rings
to swim in riches all my days"
He ecstatically says
There is no need for tears
For a time will near
When a chance will be presented
To erase the wrong indented
Oh decrepited nation, how FOOLISH!
To hold the man's coronation
Who caused your every indignation
And led to a total miscoordination
How forgetful you must be
To efface the evil he brought to being
Truly, the future
Lies in every human creature
