The Trial of Speed and Strength

Thrown away as a child To be raised among the wild Taught by bears at a young age Then captured by the palace cage A deadly race to win her hand Where in the end, only she would stand He observed her a careful distance Attracted by her fierce resistance He sought for aid to gain her suit And prayed to love for golden fruit Three dropped apples slowed her pace And ensured his victory within the chase Yet he forgot to pay his debt And brought down wrath they'd soon regret

This a a refreshing departure from a lot of the angst and introspection that gets captured here. Not that there's anything wrong with that.
