Their Vietnam
Halo of blood
My angle
And his downfall
Earth kissed cheek
Claimed by a victory
What was in it for him
He’s spoiling like milk
He’s rotting like a strawberry
These seeds are growing into flowers
Sprouts in my heart
The vines in casing my lungs
Are like the one’s hiding his body
The truth be the most
We couldn’t bare the sight of another ghost
I see him in my dreams
But he has changed
He’s afraid
I’m afraid
I close my eyes and see monsters
I open them and find claws clutching a gun
The frontlines
Aren’t the streets of New York
Of course the only difference
Is everything but
The rabbit hole of dead men
