Them

what is it tht we see in THEM?

that we lower ourselves because of THEM?

who gave THEM the power to judge us?

how do THEY take the god out of us?

why is it that we give in so easily?

and then we cry, as if we never believed

tht we

could be

so easily

decieved.

blinded by the fog that covers when we step out the shower

we betray ourselves and get mad at THEM

for doing what THEY'VE always done

even though we envisioned THEM as our

mighty

strong

tower.

like a book we've read repeatedly

we know whats going to happen we tell ourselves the plot

and then sit back to see what we didn't want to see

but what we knew we would see before we could ever see

what ever happened to learning from past mistakes?

making sure that we could never break?

threw caution to the wind

just to play a little game of pretend

we opened ourselves up THEM

so lets prepare for the consequences

tht accompany

the likes

of

THEM.
