Them Boyz

Them boys don’t care knowing summer is on its way, beginning to feel the heat? Them boys don’t share there’s deeper meaning than surface, less milk more meat.

Them boys know they’re wrong, keeping them secrets we don’t know. Them boys singing songs making sure the dry-erase board brains are as white as snow.

Them boys keeping us blind, keeping us deaf. Them boys are  money and power hungry, “what dinner is on the mind of the chef?”

Them boys tell us everything is okay, and to sit tight. Them boys real sneaky making sure the truth is out of sight.

Is we gon’ continue to be blind, not knowing what’s going on? Or is we gon’ be on the other side to see who won?
