Then to Now

Hurt runs deep

Tears are shed

Hearts are torn

Love is dead

Try so hard

Always fail

Bruised and scarred

Blood's red trail

Makes it's mark

On my heart

Like a bullet,

Gives a start

Tears and Blood

Pour like rain

Beaten time and time again

My past is dark

No one knows

I hide it deep

So it won't show

Covered hurts

Years of hidden pain

Worldliness leaves sins stain

I now have God

And he holds me

I am now saved from that fate

No more hurt

No more hate
