Therapy Goat
I am the therapy friend
Never asked how I am doing
I never see the end
The conversation always end in crying
My heart aches
When I hear what they're going through
But I have no breaks
Just have to help until they know what's true
I take their secrets to the grave
So they don't have to do it alone
But what about me why do I have to be brave
I can't even cry in my own home
I listen to every problem they give
Help any way I can
And I just try to live
With all their troubles in my hand
The world on my shoulders
Their hurt in my heart
I undermine their scolders
Just trying to do my part
They’re more important
If they don't know the truth
I’ll hurt and be their informant
I sit and bleat words of comfort
Scripture is what I manly quote
But I will always secretly hurt
I am their Therapy Goat
