There areParts of me with

There are

Parts of me with preachers

Parts of me at home

Parts of me with teachers and

Parts of me alone

I just want a place where all the parts of me are shown

But I can't feel safe if every part of me is known

They tell me watch my language

They tell me watch my tone

With so many expectations

I can't let myself be shown

Instead I sit back and let the others take control

I am not my own person I'm just everybody's drone

So I live in my writing

The only place I am my own

Here is where I go down fighting

Find me sitting on my throne

Truth strikes like lightning

On a city full of clones

News reports are citing

That corruption's overthrown

Now on to bigger things the next goal is unknown

Still, we rejoice that every one of us has grown.
