Is there a cover charge to get into Heaven?

I am just one speck of stardust in an infinite amount of galaxies.

The energy within me is trapped in this human,

To which it will be freed when my body decides to croak.

Energy cannot be created or destroyed,

so science says.

I am not afraid to die.

there are universes within our bodies, and

our spirits are imbedded in the cosmos.

When I die, I think that’s really when it all begins.

I image myself as a ball of light,

not restricted by my physicality.

Societal expectations and rules of physics are no longer a problem.

Maybe I’ll meet God, I hope he’s real.

When I die, I’ll be fine.

My energy will travel to the deepest parts of the oceans,

and to the tips of the tallest mountains.

The questions that have been discarded as existential issues,

will no longer be asked.

I will race across space,

Touch stars, and land on planets.

I will visit my family, and give them a sunny day.

I will kiss their foreheads, and give them peace of mind.

I’ll make sure they see flowers and butterflies,

so they know I’m watching over.

Maybe I’ll haunt them every so often,

so they really don’t forget me.

When I die, I don’t want people to grieve me.

I don’t want my mom to cry,

I’ll pick her up at the gates as soon as she gets here.

I hope my baby brother doesn’t need me anymore,

and he can move onto being the man I know he can be.

I know my dad will be waiting for me,

I’ll wake him up when I get there.

We’ll probably walk our dog.
