There’s is an emptiness here

An emptiness the size of

a raging sea. And no, 

Not the ones of raging passion. 

The ones of an off and on feeling of anger

The constant feeling of abandonment

In a word full of feminism and strong women, 

There is still one girl.

The one strong girl with daddy issues, 

That is never seen as weak, 

Never seen as the girl who is constantly feeling like she is not good enough

The one that doesn't have someone to have a daddy-daughter dance with

But yet she digresses 

She is strong.

She is caring

And open to the love she has never been given 

From a male figure

Open to love

Even if everyone she opens up to

Drags her empty soul down farther

She is not empty

In a world full of seas
