There is Hope

Moments disembark just as soon as they take place.

We each must find a way,

a way in which to survive.

As much as we love,

we sometimes cry, and wonder why.

Why?

The whole world is diseased,

desperately trying different medications,

hoping one,

just one,

will be it's remedy.

As it's symptoms fester,

they persist, infect, and spead.

"Hopeless!" proclaims the world,

"We, we are hopeless.

    Will this truly ever end?

         This plague is killing us!

This pain... this affliction... will it ever cease?"

There is hope though,

 there is indeed.

Listen close,

and lift your weary heads up.

I know the alleviation.

It is love that can cure it,

and it is love that will cure it.

But it will take time, it will take time.

It is like a flower,

and it won't begin to grow,

unless you tend to it daily, and give it time to grow.

Learning to love yourself and others,

is just like tending to a flower.

It takes effort.

It takes patience.

Our hindrance is hatred, and it is ripping us apart.

Love is the only cure,

and it is the only answer.

If I could change one thing, oh just any little one thing...

I would change the world, and I would change it with love.

Because love is enduring,

and seeks to help others,

even, over itself.

We are here one second, and gone the next.

The only thing that speaks after death,

is our actions and character.

Choose to inspire, and choose to inspire love.

Because if it's one thing I've learned, any thing at all,

Its that love never fails,

and it won't start now.
