There is hope

Here's a dark confession..

I have severe depression

Mixed with a little anxiety and it often get's the best of me

I used to let my suicidal thoughts rule my mind

Stay up until four am crying over wanting to die

The burning of my eyes, the pacing and the silent cries became a weekly routine

Until I realized that I need to fight

I cannot let this illness control me even when I have no hope

I sought treatment and therapy and feel less alone

Even though I am struggling extremely,

I am determined for my depression to know it needs to go

As time went on, I have become stronger and more ready for a fight

And that is my definition of a glow up

Because putting my heaalth first will take me to new heights
