There is a man
The real problem is stress
It makes such a mess
But it is not the main one
That keeps her heart torn
There is a man
She wants to give her hand
But he belongs to another
Leading her to close the shutters
She remains sad
And he has no clue
Why she is mad
Out of the blue
They are best friends
Who use to talk to no end
But now they barely speak
Nor eyes ever meet
She remains hopeful
That he will see
His girl is not full
Of what he thinks to be
She dreams of the future
That she hopes to have
With her
Handsome lad
So much times has past
She wonders all the while
If he will want her at last
Or if she's lost in the large pile
He only ever sees her shield she always shows
So he never knows
Her conflicting emotions
That always creates such a commotion
That feels her head
With many hopes and dreams
But many times it seams
Her fear gets to often fed
That sometimes leaves her with much dread
But time has passed again
And she, too, will mend
