There is no Control

When you say you love me

those words must hold their weight.

I will not accept your falsity

if empty diction is what you state.

To tell someone you act out of love

it must be proven with the things you do.

To know it's true it must hereof

have these factors I'll convey to you.

Your well-being matters as much as theirs,

along with the little things in between.

They always desire to have you there,

but know what personal space means.

There is no jealousy when you win,

only smiles that express their pride

for the potentials that you hold within

and their true happiness deep inside.

Love and respect fall hand in hand,

and with respect, there's no control.

So, if there is control love won't withstand

since it's pressure will only take a toll.

The one who can say it's real,

is no one but you yourself.

Love has no approved seal,

it is something that can only be felt.
