There Is No Planet B
When I look outside I see a beautiful place,
With a community wearing a smiling face.
We all strive to live the “American dream,”
But I’m still trying to figure out what that means.
Trying to “make a living,”
And show off your “bling”?
Humans take advantage of the simple necessities,
Like a working class of honey bees.
We see life grow like a forest of great big trees,
Until a carpenter comes along and does as he pleases.
Every cause has an affect,
Including a bigger regret.
A selfish race fills the air with neglect,
We must think about the consequences we select.
Just like our bodies being our own personal automobile,
We need to eat and exercise the proper way in order to continue to turn the wheel.
There are many people that inspire me to pursue my dream,
I plan on doing so with the proper team;
We will help the planet by any means.
By doing what we can to keep it clean.
This is one beautiful planet we all live on together,
And if we work as a team we can make it even better.
