There Is No Reason
"I'm crying for no reason"
she told me when I asked.
I felt like I dealt treason
when I continued no further.
"I'm crying for no reason"
it rang through my soul.
I was much too young
to understand my goal.
"I'm crying for no reason"
is all that she insisted.
The truth of her pain is
what my thoughts resisted.
"I'm crying for no reason"
I soon began to comprehend.
But it was too late, for
she already met her end.
"I'm crying for no reason"
when she had every reason
to be desperately lost
in beginning of summer season.
"You cry for every reason"
I tell every friend
to ensure they won't, like she,
melt in a depressed end.
