THERE IS NO TITLE #1

In the tradition of the question asked time and time again, “what do you want to be?”

Eight years later and I have found the answer.
emotion.
I want to become living emotion.

When your father dies, I will be the songs you mourn to
I will be the gray sky.
when there is forgiveness and redemption, I will be the sound of the puzzle pieces coming together.
when you are in love, I am the one that intoxication your every sense.
when you are needy and without, I am the grass to give you rest and the tree to give you shade.
when you are angry, I am the beat of your heart, faster than a track horse, and the tingling in your fingers.
when you are hurt, I am the ground that folds to support you, and I am the fading pink sunset that reminds you are alive.
and most importantly,
when you are happy and the bills are paid and your stomach is full, I am the sweet smell of the breeze blowing past. -c.s.
