There is a reason
There is a reason that god made children so innocent. There is a reason
There is a reason god made children's eyes so wide. There is a reason
There is a reason god made children's minds so empty and mouldable. There is a reason
There is a reason god made children's hands so new and unused. There is a reason
There is a reason god made children.
He made the children we call “special” and “reminders” because it takes us back. It takes us back to when we were just in god's innocence. We were made to be innocent. That is why we are created… But through our whole lives that innocence is tested, mutilated, and destroyed.
He made the children's eyes so wide and full of wonder because he expected us to show them along their ways and help them see potential in every single thing but those wide, wonderful eyes are filled. They are not filled with wonder, NO, they are filled with regret and dissatisfaction. The wonder in a children's eyes changes to forgetting, the looking changes to found and the wide. Un-filled eyes are never again.
He made children's minds so empty and moldable so that a child could serve as a freshener. He made their minds empty so that they could be filled with dreams and ideas and he made them moldable so that others could show them the way and so that they could look up to them. But their empty minds are not filled with dreams and even if they do start to fill they are pushed out and away because their minds are moulded and filled with reality that those dreams could never in a million years come true, when they could.
He made children's hands so new and unused so that their hands could show regeneration and youth. He made their hands new so that even if they were dirty or covered they would still be new and unused afterwards. But their new. Beautiful. Unused hands are torn, they are ripped, they are used, and they change…. a child's hands start as soft. Only touched by the creator himself but they are used. Their new hands are stolen and replaced by leather to the touch, wrinkled hands. They are changed through their lives and even when they cannot and should not ever be used again, they are once again stripped of the little youth left.
There is a reason god made children. There is one
But we have forgotten that reason. It is gone and it will never be back, even if we try to remember we will not. We will not remember. How could we. After all. We were once those children
