There Will Be No Forget-Me-Nots

Upon the place fate set aside,

there will be no forget-me-nots.

There will be no roses adored in gold, nor any violets or honeysuckle.

Cursed is this fate, holding onto the limbs of destiny.

Destiny, detached, for trust has been lost to the past.

The world never waits for fate’s maturity,

there is no time to comprehend.

Upon the place fate set aside,

now endless, void to show any center,

there will be no forget-me-nots.

Cursed fate, even so, grasping the robes of clarity.

Clarity, detached, for faith has been lost to the past.

The world glares at fate’s childishness,

there is no time to comprehend.

Upon the place fate set aside,

darkness takes root.

littered with forget-me-nots,

fate clings to hope.

Hope, attached, for blurry mirrors are not prophesy of how long this will last

The world steps away

and I take my time to comprehend
