There You Are!

There you are!

Running like a summer’s breeze,

As smooth as the river’s bend,

And as dark as the midnight moon.

But there you are!

Running free and wild

With long and powerful strides,

And a longing,

A longing for the long and weary journey

Which lies ahead of you.

So now you go!

Running like the wind,

As strong as the ground

You run on

With power in every stride.
