Therefore

Mark 9:24

24 Immediately the father of the boy cried out and said, “I believe; help my unbelief!”

“Therefore”

A word seldom used in conversation ... but oft in the bible

Maybe we are not often sure of self and in what we believe

Possibly the foundation of our reasoning is too flawed

as we move through the night simply as common thieves

Should not our meditation realistically hold us libel?

As because of our lackluster-ness we can’t receive

Has not the vexation in understanding God’s law

removed our insight and overflowed us with unbelief?
