There's A Difference

Gone when I was seven Secluded to a place, any call heaven Mom did her best Always felt loved never the less There’s a difference though I noticed when I first got my heart broken Feeling lost, unwanted and unloved Mom said pray just look for answers from above That’s where you’ll find unconditional love There’s a difference though Father daughter events, I knew nothing about Nowhere around when I needed a father the most I needed, still need some type of miracle Mom tried to aid my heart but the void is still there There’s a difference though I need you here physically I needed a hug, words of assurance Not answers from above I needed unconditional love I needed father, daughter days I just needed God to let you stay Because believe it or not, there’s a difference I’m different, then how I would have been How I would of grew up How I would have loved But I know you love me so for now, the DIFFERENCE doesn’t matter, and your love is enough.
