There's Mountains Here

Sun to blanket rocky hills
Over the greens the wind soon stills
Slowly rolling turning down
Going from yellow to red to brown
Kindly faces stare to the stars
Riding off in their rental cars
Even when storms brew past the view
Where darkness leaves its morning dew
Slip away from glass woven picture frames
Step down and lie in the days roaring rains
As trains run past greener grove
At least the trails know where we drove
-M
