There's nothing wrong with you
There's nothing wrong with you. For years you hid it, thinking no one would accept you. But one day you came out, and it was scary. You knew it wouldn't be easy, and it wasn't. You were shunned from your family, you were told that it was a choice and that you had to change. But little by little you learned to love and accept yourself. You met people like you, you weren't alone anymore. You found love, and wouldn't trade it for anything. You found happiness and acceptance. You weren't sick, it wasn't an illness like they made you think. You are gay, and that's ok. Though you will still be met by ingorance, you will no longer feel the need to prove anything to them. Because this is your life, so live it.
