There's a Reason

There's a reason for everything.

A reason that we are here,

A reason we believe what we do,

A reason we fight the way we fight and do it so passionately.

I have my reasons,

And I know you do too,

But so does everybody,

You aren't special in that light.

You may believe in an afterlife,

Others may not.

You may believe that everybody is equal,

Yet there will always be someone who disagrees.

No matter what you do in life,

There will always be someone who will want to bring you down.

You just can't let them,

You have to surround yourself in confidence.

There's a reason that you feel the way you do,

May it's right, maybe it's wrong.

No matter what, you are the owner of that thought,

And no-one can take that from you.
