There's someone I can't live without

There’s someone I can’t live without.

I’ll tell, but promise not to judge.

See, I can’t do so many things

All by myself – like cooking and

Like washing what I choose to wear.

I’ve got some gifts, but not at home.

The ironing is quite a task,

With dusting, moping, wiping too

It’s all a mess when I am done.

Why I can't seem to learn this stuff

Remains a mystery to me.

But I give thanks to someone else.

Before I leave this final grade,

I’m glad Mom’s here, and not a maid.
