There's something beautiful in the way that the leaves grow back.

Struggling

To find the last strand of hope in this sickening place.

What are we then to do when all runs out? That can't be an option.

We are left to contemplate what we have left,

Mend,

And make do.

We continue to carry on, for now not searching;

Simply being, because with each other, not much else is really necessary.

We learn from each other

To build each other up.

It is the only way in this place.

We watch the way the leaves blow off the trees, admiring the beauty in the way that they grow

Back, as all things come around

With time.

Not all realize this, but not much can be done.

So we continue to look for the beauty in the simple things, like the way the sun returns after hours

Of darkness, and how it shares its light and sky with the moon and the many stars, and how in the

End, love is the thing that keeps people truly alive.

And so we realize these things in the world,

And in ours. We learn and grow,

Just like a baby, first crawling then walking,

Because nothing is perfect here,

But there is always more to learn,

More ways to grow

In love and being contempt,

And knowing the leaves will always grow back

And that the flowers bloom again.
