there's something in my brain

there's something in my brain
it's pounding at my skull
it's so angry and it's so sad
there's nowhere i can run

there's something in my brain
it's tearing up my mind
i'd take it out and fight it
but it's already won

there's something in my brain
i can hear behind my eyes
it always takes control of me
i don't know if i'm mine

there's something in my brain
i can sense it deep inside
i feed it my prescription pills
and hope that it won't bite
