These are the things..
The blackness of your hair
Like the oily darkness that glistens in the night
Shining and reflecting the light of the moon
The brown of your eyes
Hidden by lashes that whisper against your skin
Like the wings of butterflies that tickle the air
A brown that changes like the very soil of the earth
The golden hue of your skin
Which speaks to the kisses the sun
Has placed delicately on every inch it could reach
The roughness of your hands
Which betray the hours of work and play
As you created music and broke the earth
The same hands which glide over my skin
Claiming, grasping, touching, and caressing
The slope of your back
A valley that flows and shapes itself to reach your shoulders
Shoulders that carry burdens of many kinds
The softness of your lips
Which shape words, kisses and smiles
Smiles that tug at your eyes and fill your whole body with light and joy
The beauty of your body and soul
A body and soul which cry to be touched and loved
A body and soul which dance with my heart only to win it as their own
These are the things in which i lose myself in the silence
