These arms of mine
To accomplish everything I want to in life, I need these arms of mine.
These arms of mine carry my thoughts, my belongings, my aspirations.
With these arms, I carry my instrument.
But these arms also conduct the creativity from my brain to my fingertips, so I can play.
This is why the instrument is unimportant,
Because what's an instrument without arms to play it?
With these arms, I carry my messages, my texts, my writing.
With these arms I can easily communicate with people around the world.
That is why my phone is unimportant,
Because what's a phone without the arms to text with it?
With these arms, I carry the very love of my life,
And I will someday slip a ring on her finger with these arms as well.
I will hold my children with these arms of mine, just as they will.
Because what's a family without the arms to support them?
And what's my life without my arms?
Arms used to love, play, communicate, and grow?
