These Feelings

My heart is beating so very fast I'm hoping this feeling lasts I don't ever wanna feel that pain I just want these feelings to keep me sane This whole week has meant so much to me Let's make our feelings set us free I promise to give you every bit of my all I will always catch you when you fall I'll be there for you night and day I don't want it any other way I know these feelings came on fast But I have a feeling they will grow and last I know I'm not the perfect guy But I can promise you I will always try I will never ever give up on us Not even for a selfish night of lust My feelings I give you are very real Just telling you how I feel And what I say I hope you trust Because I don't want my heart crushed I find myself again thinking of you I promise I know these feelings are true I have high hopes for our future together I believe it could last forever Yes forever is a long time But I rather spend forever with you being mine I can't believe I found someone like you All your kindness, shyness, honesty, and beauty makes me think I'm dreaming of you I want you to know all these things Because I'm tired of just being in flings I really want something real Not just to kop a feel Sometimes I wonder how and why I ended up with someone as amazing as you by my side I'm wishing I could go back in time I'd forget everything else and just make you mine I'm gonna end this poem the way it started, with my heart beating fast Hoping our feelings last.
