These Four Keys
These Four Keys
Honesty. Compromise. Openness. Promise.
These four keys unlock a healthy relationship.
Love is a powerful emotion, that brings a certain calmness
into the picture that makes it more than just a friendship.
In order to be in love, you must understand one another,
And must strive to care deeply, during good times and ache.
This feeling is strong, which means more once discovered
and will lead onto a path that will never break.
But to keep this path strong, four steps must become a pattern
Otherwise lying and annoyance break up the plans of fate.
Two people in love must know what truly matters.
To turn into sixty years from just a simple first date.
Honesty never fails, but its opposite is deadly.
Lying and hiding will always cause your relationship to deflate.
A relationship built on trust brings a life full of plenty.
And nothing matters more than the trust of your mate.
People come in different shapes and sizes.
With completely different personalities and hopes.
But love looks past all differences and realizes
That the other person’s wants mean more than your own.
Love is a feeling that’s comfortable and inviting
The catch? One must become open to the other lover.
No secrets, and no worries about the other person chiding,
Because they love who you are and knows there’s other.
While love can exist without a symbol of a physical ring
It cannot exist without the dedication of a lifetime.
Two people stay faithful together through everything.
And the words “I do” bring two people together for the long ride.
The following four keys unlock a happy and healthy life:
Honesty. Compromise. Openness. Promise.
These things are essential, remember them and you will be wise.
These four keys will keep your relationship flawless.
