These Halls
In these halls is where it started.
The names came first and never stop.
They float into my head and never seem to leave,
No matter what anyone says.
I feel so alone in these halls,
though they are filled with people
But no one stops, no one cares about a nerd like me
Especially when it is the jocks who are messing with me.
It seems no one can hear my cries
They make me feel like I should die.
I have gone numb inside.
I know now that they can't hurt me any further.
Someone stopped them, could I have found someone who cares?
That smile it's melting my heart that had been frozen for so long.
I can't believe it, they want to be MY friend.
Of course, I would love that and thank you for saving my life.
