These Hands

Hands will take with greed,

hands will fight with manipulation

hands will bruise the vulnerable

hands will suffocate the words within

Hands will break a tormented soul

hands will keep them in their cage.

Hands will change the world

in every way.

Hands will touch with tenderness,

hands will carry babes of innocence,

hands will lift up the suffering,

hands will write inpiring designs,

hands will wipe away painful tears,

hands will deliver love to the lonely,

hands will greet with respect.

Hands can heal the broken.

These hands can choose their creation.
