These Last Few Days

I'm holding on to these last few days,

The way The Strangler holds on to his victim's throats:

Enjoyably.

Powerfully.

Desperately.

While you're still here,

You cut the surrounding night

With your consistent glow.

You're a charmer,

Vivacity personified.

You showed me how to live.

I wish I could do the same for you.

I'll miss you, Aniston,

More than a fly misses a dead cat when it gets cleaned up by the garbage man on his monday run.
