In These Moments

In these moments when growth is all we can accomplish
You planted my seed on a sunny day
Reenacting these broad mirror images that go beyond what the eyes could see

In these moments you gave me the power
Power to overcome these silent nights and routine days
With nothing but the hope of a new horizon to cling to
You brought about sudden blissful Rays

In these moments when time is all that we've got
You stamped an expiration date of forever on to my running veins
Running through my body I could only feel the touch of your sinful gaze

In these moments when tomorrow never seems to come
You woke me up with the morning sunrise
Not to be startled but awoken with the thought of something that is to be done

In these moments when growth is all we could ever accomplish our love had only begun
