These Nights

It’s getting harder to make it through these nights. I toss and turn, but somehow I just can’t forget the thought of you next to me. And oh, how wonderful it was. You, worn out from a long day, in a deep, peaceful sleep. I never thought I’d crave you next to me at night as much as I do now. I long for the moment when I lay my head down again on the pillow that we share. These nights just aren’t worth my time when you’re not here.
