These Now Dead Words

These now Dead Words        Like lyrics never sung Where Cut down by the blade      of the sharpest tongue. I Fought til the Death to bring you life;    with an all consuming fire, Meant to brighten your skies. Yet So many words expressed They fell 💀 dead like soldiers With a cry out to God, in there last breathe As they where Left to verbal execution And the shock still permeates in this land of confusion Battered, abused & unrecognizable From all the bruises So much unsaid so much left unspoken. So how can this be after all I have given I'm the one left broken? It Always seems like it's never enough despite what I've shown? Cause i tried so hard to show how I felt for you With the Hell you give me I still trudge through And still I try to show you with all that I am but you keep burying me Til my head is covered in sand. Words I try to speak to save us from the mess we are in It’s hard to find rest or peace within. Every piece of this puzzle you strategically cut with jagged edges sharp as razors but I never give up trying to decode the message And defeat the challenge that seems so senseless but relentless. So we've built defenses against false pretenses. I'm innocent, doing a life sentence It seems like there's never enough time but time flies bye in the blink of an eye as emotions rise up past the ⭐️ star filled sky til you reach an empty canvas blacker than darkest night Yet seems so hollow lost in the deep amongst those so shallow   So many words held captive insida me.
