These Sheets

I live for the shadows

Turning invisible in the light

I stare in this closure

While you search for for new sights

Tears soil these sheets

While you fool around in these streets

Hoot and Holler at swining hips

While I sit here with this  sharp tip

You see no one ever realizes a toxic situation

Until they come out of one

And by that time

Time has past

And the damage has already been done

So I will sit here in these sheets

Watch these tears fall to my feet

As this red river runs

Becuase trust the damage has only begun
