These stars I see

These stars I see

are filled with

hatred, love, betrayal, loss, and grief

why do these stars I see not shine with other lights

These stars I see

come far and wide

from the milky way and the starry night's sky

These stars I see

cannot always seem so filled

with light love and hope forever still

These stars I see

are broken still

are buried deep and hold an unending chill

These stars I see

cannot be all that bad

filled with the in between

These stars I see

Oh just the stars I have seen

have not just been depressing

but joyful and quite sad

These stars I see

really are just what I see

Stars In The Night
