These walls
These bars even though invisible they still exist, I never thought I'd be held, prisoner. I don't think I can break out of this.
Locked up for most of my miserable life, I married a callous heart, I'm no longer alive inside, I'm a prisoner of love. I wish I could say it was for a good reason.
The minute he put his hands on me, I felt like I had committed treason. I can't go on, I got a life sentence of hate. I wake up in the morning I cry more and lay awake.
When I said I do, I never knew I was signing over my everything, my heart my soul, literally my everything.
My friends tell me that I've changed but not for the better.
He changed my whole identity I love the man but I need to forget him.
I need real love llocaneak me out of this prison, Alcatraz of pain. I just wanna be a citizen. But these bars though invisible. I can see them from the back of my mind. I sleep in fear of death. So I do nothing but cry.
There's life inside of me but no one will ever see it.
He says he loves me, but why keep me captive. I feel like death All I want is my freedom.
Love is my prison. But how can this be? It's supposed to like serendipity. It's more like blissful insanity. I need to fly, beautiful birds don't belong in cages. I've never been through this before this love is full of hatred. I've gotten lost in his world. This prison is no days inn. I gotta break out soon. I need the new me back, the old me keeps fading in. I'm a prisoner of love. Why do I even take it?
These bars even though invisible, no longer hold my heart captive. I found someone to rescue me, I'm never going back there. In a world where I never thought it could even be true. I've been set free. And it's all because of you. #LoveIsMyPrison..
For those of you who feel like you can't get out. Trust me..it's possible. Allow no man to hold your heart captive. Allow no man to treat you like you have to be where you are, it's not true..break out. And see what true love has to offer. God's going to love you better than any man ever could.
