These Words

These words I write

Are the only ones that feel right

Living in a world of wrong

These poems are my songs

The songs of struggling to find a way

To get through each and every day

These poems are a way to change

Even when I feel estranged

From the world in which I dwell

That sometimes feels like a living hell

These words are my saving grace

For when I feel out of place
