these young eyes are naive

these young eyes are naive each night like new years eve but i can hear the burden growing yet i chant to myself (keep going) to be betrayed by your own skin astounded like a mother of kissing kin grounded and humble in my own fire i am my nemesis, the town crier plant me in the cold ground do not confuse my screams for sound do not let my heavy heart lose hope i am out of balance like a continental slope and when they dig me out they will see, without doubt that i am human, i am free so please be good to me
