theusual.

burning ashes,

until we ashes,

we either drug dealing,

or rapping,

that's what they say about us,

hated during 'nam,

but still expected us to fight for US,

then they wonder why we're filled with fear,

instead of love,

which is why we pick up weapons and spray it,

though i guess i'm just another "nigga" because I say it,

complaining about being oppressed,

but our impression of being in oppression,

blinds us, when instead,

we shouldn't be stressing,

only taking everday as a blessing,

or end up stepping,

out your body,

with your soul in isolation,

because you want to stand on the corner,

pick up the heat and burn 'em,

thinking you earning,

some kind of respect,

but i guess,

that's the usual,

false truths of the truth being reality,

with us,

being results of physical and soul brutality.
