They

They tell me to get a good education

They say that going to college is important,

They pressure me into choosing their school

They convice me that paying for college will be easy.

I'm convinced I don't need to worry,

They tell me now that i don't qualify for financial assisstance

They lied to me.

Education will cost my family everything.

I don't want to be a financial burden on my family

I just want help on making my future a bright one.

I'm going to college,

But it's going to be far from free.

Education is expensive,

They made it that way.

They have prevented some from their dreams,

They make me angry.

I love the fact that this is something that current high school students such as myself could relate to. Also to others who could relate. They tend to convince us with what sounds right, but is it going to help me because the information that they give isn't going to help us completely.
