They
Tiny. Clear.
They cling to the fibers
Of your hair,
Take on the color of your skin
Or refract sunlight
Into tiny rainbows,
Tunnels of light trapped inside.
They seem to glow,
Bioluminescent,
Like people used to think
The moon was.
Small bits of crystal
Cling, shatter, or slide off
Seemingly of their own accord.
