They are us, So Who Are We?

Painted smiles and lying eyes, How happy we all seem.

Cold corpses wander round, Oh, isn't life a dream?

To be wanted and to fit in, Is all we say we need,

We chase success, we cause distress

What is it that we mean?

We cry with songs, We hide in dance,

We fear all that don't we.

Smile pretty, Look cool,

Be what others want to see.

Follow their leads, take their orders

They speak so, we agree.

In the mirror, take a closer look,

Who is it, that are "We?"
