They call me the Frog

They call me the Frog Prince,
Every time I wince.
Why must they torment me this way?
Everything I am has entered the fray.
The incident where my face turned green,
Still isn't running out of steam,
They all use it to laugh and jeer,
At their fellow peer.
And so what if I have a couple of warts?
Why do they command the royal courts?
If only they could realize,
Just how much I'm ostracized.
Maybe they wouldn't be as harsh,
And stop telling me I belong in a marsh.
In every area I would be able,
If only my emotions were stable.
But wait, here comes another,
With a face only loved by their mother.
I will support them through thick and thin,
Until the beauty emerges from within.
Together we will build and grow,
Teaching the other what we know.
Accepting them for who they are,
And helping them become a star.
